This Conference will intend to be a contribution for a smart, inclusive and sustainable growth of European Geoparks, sharing the main aims of the “European Strategy 2020”, focused on key areas such as: knowledge and innovation, a more sustainable economy, high employment and social inclusion.
The main aims of the Conference are:
-to reflect about the EGN progress
-to contribute to the smart, sustainable, inclusive growth of European Geoparks
-to share good experience on education programmes and projects
-to consolidate the European Geoparks as territories of excellence for Geo-tourism
-to exchange new trends on geo-conservation strategies
-to present new public and private investments in Geoparks
-to certify Geoparks
