2014 WPFD Youth Newsroom

Young journalists from around the world have once again come together to produce multi-media content on-site during the 2014 World Press Freedom Day (WPFD) international conference. More than thirty young newsroom reporters are developing coverage in English, French and Arabic, focusing on this year´s WPFD global theme “Media Freedom for a Better Future: Shaping the post-2015 Development Agenda”.

The École Supérieure de Journalisme de Paris is the host school in charge of the overall coordination of this year´s multi-national youth newsroom, which is being organized in partnership with the  World Editors Forum/World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA), the Doha Centre for Media Freedom, the American University of Sharjah and the University of Oregon.

The organization of the 2014 World Press Freedom Day Youth Newsroom was made possible thanks to funding from the European Union, under the NET-MED Youth Project.
