Workshop on editorial, programming and monitoring skills for Mwanedu FM and Radio Mang'elete

Volunteers from Radio Mangelete
Ten staff members from Mwanedu FM and Radio Mang'elete will participate in a three-day training workshop organized as part of the UNESCO project “Empowering local radios with ICTs”. The training, which will take place from 17 to 19 December 2012 in Mtito Andei (Kenya) will focus on editorial, programming and monitoring skills for community media practitioners with a specific emphasis on gender. The objective of the workshop is to gauge gender sensitivity in local radios’ content and operations, including scheduling strategies.
