Kenya: Training on Financial Management, Equipment Use and Maintenance for Sauti FM Radio Staff

UNESCO Regional office for Eastern Africa is supporting Community Media Support (CMS) to conduct an in-house training to community radio staff of Sauti FM Radio on Financial Management and Equipment Use and Maintenance at Sauti FM Radio Station in Asembo Bay, Kenya. The training is aimed at building and enhancing capacity of the 5 radio staff working at the radio station.
This event will focus on financial planning and management, concept of inventory management, methods of financial planning, uses of financial documents in general and also in community radios, concepts of inventory management, equipment use and maintenance.

This activity is part of UNESCO’s on-going SIDA project on “Empowering local radios with ICTs” in 4 radio stations located in Kenya” aimed at building capacities of radio practitioners in the region.
