Training workshop for East African community radio correspondents to combat HIV/AIDS

UNESCO in collaboration with the East Africa Community Media Network (EACOMNET) will hold a 4-day training workshop with community radio stations from Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda.
This event is organized within the framework of a UNAIDS Unified Budget, Results and Accountability Framework (UBRAF) project to enable young men and women to contribute fully to the reduction of sex transmission of HIV and AIDS through media and ICT capacity building. Community radio correspondents will be trained on investigative reporting and local content generation for weekly local language programmes in different formats including radio browsing.
