This workshop focuses on initiatives in Africa as part of the global study on "Developing Literacy through Mobile Phones: Empowering Women and Girls".
In the context of the project on "Developing Literacy through Mobile Phones: Empowering Women and Girls", a workshop will be held on initiatives in Africa which target women and girls through education via innovative mobile technology-based learning and information programmes. The retaining and improvement of literacy skills of neo-literate women and girls is of particular interest for the project.
