Convention of Young Engineers in Kuwait
The Youth Convention is hosted by the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) Young Engineers and Future leaders Committee in Kuwait from 10 to 12 February 2013.
This Youth Convention will gather young engineers worldwide under the umbrella of one key convention. The topics chosen are Youth in engineering, Engineering and Technology, and Globalization and International Relations.
This event holds high importance to the youth as it will be a large gathering of engineers from all over the world.
This event is under the patronage of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The 3-day conference will include speakers from UNESCO such as Dr Gretchen Kalonji, Assistant Director-General for Natural Sciences of UNESCO and Dr Hayat Sindi, UNESCO goodwill ambassador.
It will also gather participants from the WFEO, Engineers without borders, South Africa Women in Engineering, European Federation of National Engineering Association and the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences.
