In order to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Memory of the World, activities will be held in different parts of the world to promote and showcase documentary heritage.
Activities implemented by and in different countries will help to highlight the impact that the Memory of the World (MoW) has had on the promotion of documentary heritage, and in raising awareness of issues relating its protection. National committees will be encouraged to showcase items listed on a register and to explain why their continued safeguard is important.
