Water at the heart of science

From the Mediterranean basin to the valleys of the Andes, the exhibition "Water at the heart of science" presents some of the main French research projects in the field of water. Richly illustrated and educational, it leads to a better understanding of the role of research in the sustainable management of water, a vital resource that is essential to development.
The exhibition was prepared for the International Year of Water Cooperation 2013. It is co-produced by the Institut Français, the IRD (Institut de recherche pour le développement) and the Centre de Culture scientifique et technique de la région Centre. Premiered at UNESCO for the official launch of the International Year for Water Cooperation, it will be shown around the world throughout the year in the institutions of the French cultural network.
