Representatives of the 52 members of the European Geoparks Network will assemble in UNESCO to discuss various joint activities and areas of cooperation.

An Open Session will take place on Thursday 21 march 2013 in Room IV (Fontenoy) from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Over the course of three days, representatives of the 52 members of the European Geoparks Network will discuss matters of mutual cooperation and progress on common projects and activities between them. The European Geoparks form the European branch of the Global Geoparks Network and they meet twice every year. They have many common projects and shared activities and these meetings provide an opportunity for the members to come together to progress these activities and projects, to share experience and to develop new networking activities between them.
