Cultural and Special Events at UNESCO House
Working together with the programme sectors, Member States and public or private partners the Special Events Section organizes, each month, cultural events (shows, concerts, exhibitions, prize-giving ceremony, cinema screenings, etc.) at the UNESCO House.

UNESCO opens its doors to the public on the occasion of the United Nations Day celebrated on 24 October, the anniversary of the entry into force of the Charter of the United Nations (24 October 1945).

Seule agence des Nations Unies à avoir son siège à Paris, l’UNESCO accueillera ce mercredi le grand public pour lui faire découvrir son mandat, son action ainsi que les Nations Unies. Architecture et œuvres d’arts seront également au programme des visites organisées, en particulier à destination du jeune public, toutes les demies heures entre 10 heures et 17 heures.
Cette journée portes ouvertes vise également à faire connaître l’histoire de notre Siège - la Maison de l’UNESCO - sa vie culturelle et intellectuelle animée toute l’année.
