The Hungarian and Swedish Permanent Delegations to UNESCO have the pleasure to invite you to an event in commemoration of Raoul Wallenberg and his achievements on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth.

The Swedish diplomat Raoul Wallenberg made a unique contribution during World War II, by saving tens of thousands of Jews in Budapest from the Holocaust. His actions show that one person’s courage and ability can make a difference, and also serve as a model for us to stand up against persecution, xenophobia and anti-Semitism. In order to shed light on Raoul Wallenberg’s achievements the Hungarian and Swedish Delegations to UNESCO invite you to an evening with music, an exhibition, personal remembrances and a film screening "Good Evening, Mr. Wallenberg".
