For the fifth consecutive year, UNESCO gives its patronage to the European Night of Museums organized by the French Ministry of Culture. UNESCO Headquarters will open its doors to the public on 18 May and give place of honor to the Republic of Korea, the Organization's partner for the 2013 edition.

The tour will begin with the presentation of a selection of Korean artworks from UNESCO’s collections, giving the visitor the unique occasion to see works which are usually not accessible to the general public. This will notably include works by Park Kwang-jin, Min Kyoung-Kap and Kang Ik-Joong.

The visitor will then have the chance to discover the modern architecture of the Organization’s Headquarters as well as part of its art collections, including works by Giacometti, Picasso, Miró, Calder, Erró or Chillida, among others.

The guided tours will take place from 8 pm until midnight (last admission), free of charge. Entrance at 7 place de Fontenoy (Paris 7th), exit at 125 av. de Suffren.

Visits in English, French and Spanish.
