Most of the Multilateral Development Banks Members are also Members States of UNESCO.
Therefore the partnership is based on the achievement of shared programme objectives for the benefit of common Member States and the added value of each partner.
In addition to implementing projects, UNESCO engages in upstream policy exchanges, joint advocacy and capacity building with Multilateral Development Banks
