In line with UNESCO’s mandate, the project seeks aims to increase the capacity of rural female teachers and improve early childhood care by leveraging powerful and affordable technology in intelligent and sustainable ways.
Specifically, the project aims to:
- Improve the ECCE content knowledge of female teachers working in rural areas
- Provide pedagogical training and guidance to ECCE teachers
- Improve students speaking, listening and writing skills.
- Introduce a new and affordable model of teacher development that, if successful, can be emulated in other regions in Pakistan and elsewhere
