Aleksandr Osin

Aleksandr Vasilyevich Osin is Director of the ‘Training and Methodical Center for Information and Analytic Activities’, a Moscow-based educational institution financed from the state budget; Candidate of Science (Engineering); a holder of the title of honor of higher vocational education; a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, and a member of the Union of Cinema Makers of Russia.

Dr. Osin is an initiator of development of multimedia technologies in Russia, a scientific and art leader of more than 40 multimedia projects, and an author of over 100 scientific publications and inventions. He is a founder of ‘interactive TV’, a research area developing convergence of TV, telephony, and computer networks on the basis of multimedia technologies.
