Brainphone for m-learning – Brainwave enabled multifunctional, communication, controlling and speech signal generating device

Brainphone is a novel device for m-learning for people with disabilities.– It is Brainwave enabled multifunctional, communication, controlling and speech signal generating device. Human brainwave if controlled and analysed give some great results. These analysed brainwaves are used here to make a telephone call, sending text messages, opening various websites, making TV on and off, changing volume and channels. Brainphone can also generate human speech signal by converting brainwave data to voice for people with speech disabilities for m-learning. Brainphone is an m-learning tool for persons with disabilities. Brainphone can be used to type text using brainwave on mobile devices also.

Kiran R. Trivedi

Kiran Trivedi is an Associate Professor from Shantilal Shah Engineering College, Bhavnagar affiliated with Gujarat Technological University, Gujarat, India,  under the Commissionerate of Technical Education, Government of Gujarat working in EC Engineering Department. Prof. Trivedi is ME(Communication Sytems Engineering) and currently PhD scholar from RK University and has more than 15 years of experience in teaching UG and PG students at the university level. Prof. Trivedi has organized various workshops on wireless and mobile technologies in India and also invited for talks at Netherlands, Italy, UK and Nepal. He has also contributed for a free book on m-learning jointly published by ICTP Italy and UNESCO. He had been invited to demonstrate Emergency Messanger System to Honorable President of India Dr. Abdul Kalam. Prof. Trivedi has been awarded as Nokia Developer Champion for best contribution in the mobile technologies several times. He is also been awarded as best Professor for broader outlook learner teacher and holds AIR INDIA "Rank & Bolt Award". Prof. Trivedi has also developed applications for m-learning for kids.
