Mohammad Taufiq

Finance & Administrative Officer. Chief of unit 

He heads Finance & Administration. He joined his new assignment effective February 2011 and has a Master's in Business Administration with emphasis on Project Management and Bachelors in Economics. He brings with him 30 years of professional work experience, 18 years with UNESCO. He played a key role in the establishment of UNESCO Office Islamabad when it shifted from an independent office to the UN Common House, where he worked from 1993 to 2003. He has extensively worked on the One UN Programme in Pakistan and Iran. He chaired various Task Forces which were part of the Operations Management Team reporting to the SMT. He was transferred to UNESCO Tehran Cluster Office in 2003, with as main responsibility the establishment of the office from scratch, as it was re-opened after closure for a number of years.

Tatiana Carpené Damian

Administrative Assistant

A Degree in Art History. In 1995, she joined the UNESCO Liaison Office for the Safeguarding of Venice assisting in the implementation of the UNESCO–Private Committees Joint Programme for the Safeguarding of Venice. In 1999, she integrated UNESCO Venice Office’s Administrative Unit, being responsible from 2004 to 2008 for administrative issues related to the UNESCO-Private Committees Joint Programme. Since September 2008, she is the Human Resources Management (HRM) focal point for the Office.

Benedetta Colasanti

Administrative Assistant

A Degree and a Master’s Degree in Political Sciences. She gained a working experience in a firm of chartered accountants. In 2000, she joined UNESCO Venice Office as an individual intern. In 2001, she was integrated in the Administrative Unit and, since 2005, she is the focal point for contracts and meetings.

Claudio Vincenzi

Building Administrator

A Degree in Economic Science with a specialization in Business Administration and Operational Research. In 2005, he joined UNESCO. His main duties are to coordinate, organize and supervise the general functioning of UNESCO Venice Office’s premises at Palazzo Zorzi, managing the services for the building’s maintenance and functioning. He also provides administrative assistance in the field of travel management.

Gianni Torre

Systems Administrator

An Information and Communication Technology Technician with an experience in server/client Microsoft operating systems and in the management of networks and information/communication devices. In 2008, he joined UNESCO Venice Office and is part of the Administrative Unit.

Annalisa Maritan

Receptionist/Assistant

An accountant with a specialization in international import/export financial studies. She integrated her background with tourist and linguistic studies. She worked for several years in private companies, building a sound experience in the field of accountancy. In 2005, she joined UNESCO as Receptionist and was later integrated as Assistant within the Administrative and IKM units.

A dental technician with a further specialization in tour operator studies. She worked for several years in private companies. In 2003, she joined UNESCO Venice Office as Receptionist and was later integrated as Assistant within the Administrative and IKM units.

Tania Schiavon

Receptionist/Assistant

Previously, she provided assistance in the preparation and organization of the Office’s in-house and external events, and she assisted in the translation and dissemination of information to Italian media. She is a graduate of Ca’ Foscari University (Venice, Italy) – Faculty of Conservation of Cultural Heritage. She joined UNESCO in 2007.
