UNESCO supports the participation in ECOS2011 of young scientists from South-East European countries
International Smart Energy Networks of Cooperation for Sustainable Development is the motto of the 24th International Conference on “Efficiency, Cost, Optimization, Simulation and Environmental Impact of Energy Systems” (ECOS2011) to be held in Novi Sad, Serbia from 4 to 7 July 2011. This yearly conference founded in 1985 is organized by the Mechanical - Engineering Faculty University of Niš, the Faculty of Technical Sciences - University of Novi Sad, the Mechanical Engineering Faculty - University of Belgrade, and the Mechanical Engineering - Faculty University of Kragujevac. UNESCO Venice Office will support the participation of a number of young scientists from South-East European countries. Deadline for application is 1 May 2011.
The main topic of Conference is the International and regional cooperation for sustainable development of energy systems: Needs, methodologies, technologies, accomplishments, plans, and potential. An important area of emphasis is the rapidly developing region of South-Eastern Europe.
