United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified companies to submit sealed tenders as follows:

(a) Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) System for the existing lecture hall inside the National History Museum in Tirana, Albania, on the basis of the design prepared by the UNESCO Consultant.

(b) The deadline for execution is 06 December 2011.

(c) Only companies with at least 10 years of certified construction experience can apply.

(d) The applicants must hold the official certificate for execution of construction works on the territory of Albania (the certificate is to be attached along with application).

(e) The purpose of this notice is to provide general information on the requirements for the procurement process and to inform interested suppliers how to obtain a copy of the Solicitation Documents.

Interested companies who wish to participate in the OIC must request a complete set of Solicitation Documents, available free of charge, from the contact persons listed below.

The sealed tenders must be delivered to the UNESCO Venice Office, Palazzo Zorzi – 4930 Castello, 30122 Venice, Italy, on or before 19/10/2011 at 17:00 hours, in strict compliance with the instructions as stipulated in the Solicitation Documents.

UNESCO reserves the right to amend the documents at any time during the solicitation process. Any amendments or clarifications will be communicated directly to all Bidders who have officially confirmed their intention to submit a sealed tender to the contact persons listed below. No remuneration will be made to companies for preparation and submission of their tenders.
