UNITED NATIONS EDUCATIONAL, SCIENCE AND CULTURAL ORGANIZATION (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified companies capable to provide required restoration works and surveys to submit sealed tenders for:

A) THE MONASTERY OF DECANI,
B) KULLA IN DECANI,
C) THE PATRIARCHATE OF PEC and
D) DEFTEDAR MOSQUE IN PEC,

All activities foreseen are focusing on insurance of proper conditions for long term preservation of the monument. All foreseen works are directly related to the further protection of the valuable monument as specified in the agreement between the donor and UNESCO.

Interested companies who wish to participate in the OIC must request for a complete set of solicitation documents, available free of charge, from 26 February 2008 at the address shown below.

The sealed tenders must be delivered to the UNESCO VENICE OFFICE – BRESCE, 4930 Castello - palazzo Zorzi, 30122 Venice on or before 28 March 2008 at 12.00 hours CET , in strict compliance with the instructions as stipulated in the solicitation documents.
