L'Oréal-UNESCO Awards For Women in Science 2014: Applications are open
The L’Oréal Foundation and UNESCO have announced the 2014 For Women in Science programme call for applications. Founded in 1998, the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science partnership was created to recognize and promote women in science.
Its programs reward established women scientists whose outstanding achievements have contributed to the advancement of scientific knowledge and of its benefits to society, and provide support to promising young women scientists with worthy, viable projects. Over the past 15 years For Women in Science has expanded internationally to become truly global and has supported more than 1700 women from 108 countries. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science programme.
