MATH UP! is the 14th GENERAL MEETING OF EUROPEAN WOMEN IN MATHEMATICS (EWM) to be held in Novi Sad, Serbia, during August 25-28, 2009, at the Department of Mathematics and Informatics, University of Novi Sad Faculty of Sciences.

For more than 20 years EWM has organized biennial conferences, open to members as well as non-members of EWM. In 2007, the 13th general meeting took place at the University of Cambridge, UK, gathering more than 100 women mathematicians from various fields of research.

2009 invited speakers are : Ingrid Daubechies (Princeton University, USA; 2009 EMS lecturer), Nalini Anantharaman (Centre de Mathématiques Laurent Schwartz, Ecole Polytechnique, France), Barbara Lee Keyfitz (University of Houston, USA), Jelena Kovačević (Carnegie Mellon University, USA), Cheryl Praeger (School of Mathematics and Statistics, Univ. of Western Australia), Marta Sanz-Sole (Barcelona University, Spain), Tatiana Suslina (St. Petersburg State University, Russia), Reidun Twarok (University of York, UK), Brigitte Vallee (CNRS, France).

The 14th general meeting of European Women in Mathematics (EWM) is supported by : UNESCO Office in Venice, European Mathematical Society, London Mathematical Society, Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, the Board of the Foundation Compositio Mathematica, University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Sciences, Service de l’egalite entre femmes et hommes, Universite de Fribourg, and Australian Embassy in Belgrade.
