Monitoring and Project Implementation Workshop
A 2 day monitoring and project implementation workshop organized by the MDG-F Programme Culture for Development started today in the BiH Parliament Building in Sarajevo, with more than 30 participants from state, entity and local level of administration, as well as representatives of the civil society organizations.

The objective of the monitoring workshop is to enable local partners to learn how to use the Guidelines for Monitoring and Implementation in order to adopt skills that will ensure effectiveness, transparency and efficiency of projects. Guidelines are prepared with the aim to promote principles of participatory monitoring that involves active participation of the actors.
The workshop is prepared primarily for municipal project coordinators and local monitoring teams / local partners who will on a follow up to training during the workshop take part in a “participatory monitoring process” together with the MDG-F team.
The Programme Culture for Development is a three-year programme that is being implemented in partnership of three UN Agencies: UNDP, UNICEF and UNESCO, in cooperation with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH, Ministry of Culture and Sports of FBiH, Ministry of Education and Culture of RS, as well as other institutions working in the area of education and culture.
