National Youth Conference on “SHARED VISIONS”. 15-16 May 2010. Skopje, FYR Macedonia
Under auspices of UNESCO and with the support of the MDG-F on “Enhancing Inter-ethnic Community Dialogue and Collaboration”
The Community Development Institute (CDI) from Tetovo, under auspices of UNESCO and with the support of the joint programme on “Enhancing Inter-ethnic Community Dialogue and Collaboration” supported by the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) Spanish Achievement Fund is organizing the national youth conference on “SHARED VISIONS” in Skopje, The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia from 15 to 16 May 2010.
Possibility for participation will have around 40 young people aged 16 to 24 years. Participants will be nominated by the UNESCO Clubs in The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia as well as those UNESCO Clubs that will be established through the programme SHARED VISIONS. This conference is an unique opportunity for young people from different parts of The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia to talk openly and without any prejudice about ethnicity and religion. By getting together, learning, working, socializing and having fun, they will have an opportunity to overcome the barriers that exist among young people and to start to feel the positive aspects of the possibility to live in a country rich in diversity like theirs.
