Reminder RFP Development of communication strategy and tools to present UNESCO designations in EXPO 2015
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL – RFP Services; Ref: 650RER4000/EXPO/1; Title: Development of communication strategy and tools to present UNESCO designations in EXPO 2015; Deadline: 4 September 2014
United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified companies to submit sealed tenders as follows:
The development of communication tools and products on UNESCO designations and sustainable practices of food production and consumption
a) Produce a concept note to illustrate the integrated communication strategy and the details of the single tools/products to be developed;
b) Produce multimedia items to be developed based on the draft texts and archive materials that shall be provided by the UNESCO Venice Office; the multimedia items shall consist of at least one video (tentative duration: 15 minutes); one video-clip (tentative duration: 3 minutes); 50 webpages to be included in the website of the UNESCO Venice Office;
c) Produce the content for an exhibition on the selected designations to be hosted by the UNESCO Venice Office for the duration of Expo 2015 (May-October 2015), including the design and production of at least 50 exhibition panels, and printed tools (banner, leaflet), to be developed based on the draft texts and archive materials that shall be provided by the UNESCO Venice Office;
d) Develop the graphic design and overall visual identity of the above-mentioned communication tools and products.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
- At least one reference project completed on a similar assignment
- Proven capability to carry out the work assignment entirely in the English language
- Experience in working with UNESCO and/or with other UN agencies, funds, or programmes
- Proven knowledge and understanding of the relevant themes (World Heritage; sustainable development; food sustainability as related to the theme of Expo 2015; etc.)
The purpose of this notice is to provide general information on the requirements for the procurement process and to inform interested suppliers how to obtain a copy of the Solicitation Documents.
Interested companies who wish to participate in the RFP must request for a complete set of Solicitation Documents, available free of charge, from UNESCO contact person at the address shown below.
The sealed tenders must be delivered to UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe, Palazzo Zorzi, Castello 4930, 30122 Venice - Italy, on or before 04/09/2014, at 1pm (Central European Time), in strict compliance with the instructions as stipulated in the Solicitation Documents.
UNESCO reserves the right to amend the documents at any time during the solicitation process. Any amendments or clarifications will be communicated directly to all Bidders who have requested for a complete set of solicitation documents and officially confirmed their intention to submit a sealed tender. No remuneration will be made to companies for preparation and submission of their tenders.
