Through a pilot initiative, the UNESCO Venice Office and CERN offer young scientists from SEE countries the chance of undertaking a 3-month research period at CERN, one of the world’s largest and most respected centres for scientific research.
UNESCOVENICE news 23-03-2010 : Subject to the successful performance of the selected candidates, UNESCO’s 3 month grant will be prolonged with an additional 3 months by CERN.
The 3 UNESCO grants at CERN will be awarded to: Ms Angela Gligorova (The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia), Mr Ivan Nisandzic (Bosnia & Herzegovina), Ms Valbona Tahiri (Albania).
An additional CERN research grant has been awarded to: Ms Emina Dzaferovic - Bosnia & Herzegovina
