Welcome to UNESCO Venice Office's Resources & Services managed by the Information & Knowledge Management (IKM) Unit.
Foremost among them are the Web (internet site and social media), Events (inclusive hosting services), Graphic charter (logo production and exposure, visual identity), Publications (in-house and sponsored, outreach products), Public Information, Press Room (Media Advisories, Press releases and Media resources), news published on the web and the Documentation Centre.
The Office publishes a quarterly Newsletter and a bi-yearly report on its activities. Meeting facilities are available for the organization of external events.
Information & Knowledge Management
The IKM Unit focuses on the promotion of UNESCO’s work through media outreach, information dissemination, promotional materials, publications and events.
The unit provides the Office with capacity to effectively engage in brand communications with a diverse global network of partners and stakeholders. It is particularly responsible for public information, media relations, this website and internet relations, editorial and graphic functions. It contributes to internal communication, the organization of cultural events (exhibitions, conferences, performances, Prizes) and the hosting Meeting services.
