Why an exhibition?
The first ever World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education is a unique opportunity to display, show and highlight programmes, projects, initiatives, methods, forms of ECCE service provision (pre-school, day-care, facilities, literature, products) as well as a unique platform for ECCE knowledge-sharing.

Where and when will the Exhibition take place?
The exhibition will be staged at the conference venue, the WTC Moscow Congress Center.
Specifically, two spaces will welcome the exhibition.
The main exhibition will be located in Valdai Hall. The 510 sq.m. space will accommodate booths (around 9 sq.m. each), grouped under four categories:
(i) International organizations and UN agencies,
(ii) national institutions,
(iii) non-governmental and community-based organizations, and (iv) the private sector.
A stage will welcome book launchings, informal discussions or presentations to fit into a calendar.
Two specific stands will be dedicated to the organizers of the Conference, UNESCO and the Russian Federation, and will be located in the Foyer of the building.
The exhibition will take place during the all session of the conference:
- Monday 27 September 2010
- Tuesday 28 September 2010
- Wednesday 29 September 2010
Move-in of exhibits and arrangement of booths will take place on 26 September 2010 from 9 am to 7 pm. Move-out will take place on 29 September 2010 after 6 pm.
Due to space limitations, the Conference Secretariat will proceed with a selection on criteria which include:
- Clarity and innovativeness in policy and programmatic approaches
- Diversity and inclusion in ECCE practice
- Are geographically representative and diverse
- Provide successful examples of scaling up pilot projects to national levels
- Give preference to the South
- Demonstrate cost-effective active early learning approaches, materials and pedagogies
- Demonstrate creative and cost-effective teacher active learning methodologies
- Provide good examples of holistic ECCE practice
- Demonstrate significant ECCE initiatives at national, regional or global level
- Provide good examples of low cost approaches to different elements of ECCE such as health, nutrition, early stimulation, etc.
Who can exhibit?
Exhibitors may include UN agencies, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, civil society organizations, the private sector, academic and research institutions, or foundations, interested in ECCE and who can contribute to the objectives of the Conference.
Presentation of the exhibitors will be made available into an Exhibitors’ catalogue.
In order to accommodate as many exhibitors as possible, only one booth will be made available per requesting institution.
Cost of exhibition?
Exhibitors will be provided free-of-charge with the booth space and basic equipment, and the technical support of qualified technicians. Basic equipment of the booth includes: information desk + high chair, table + 4 chairs, and a display platform 0.75*0.5*0.5.
Additional equipment can be provided upon request and payment (see Equipment price list).
Delivery to the booth of the material sent will be taken in charge by the organizers of the Conference.
The exhibitors will support the dispatching costs (in and out) of their material, together with the customs expenses, if any.
How to apply for an exhibition space?
Interested institutions should fill in the form and submit it to the Conference Secretariat.

Announcement of the final list of Exhibitors?
Announcement of selected Exhibitors will be made by 30 August 2010. The selected exhibitors will be individually informed and the list posted on the WCECCE website. Additional practical information will then be sent to each exhibitor.
