Previous Sessions of the International Scientific Committee

Composed of twenty members appointed by the Director General of UNESCO, the International Scientific Committee is responsible for ensuring an objective approach and, if possible, consensus to issues of The Slave Route and to advise UNESCO on guidelines for the project.

• Paris, France (22-24 February 2006):
