Director-General Irina Bokova renews the Nourishing Bodies, Nourishing Minds joint initiative with the WFP and UNICEF
The Nourishing Bodies, Nourishing Minds joint initiative brings together the World Food Programme, UNICEF and UNESCO aimed at supporting education programmes in the developing world.
Working towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals, the World Food Programme, UNICEF and UNESCO are aligning to build and strengthen programmes that support school feeding while addressing nutrition, quality education, social protection and narrowing the gender gap.
