World Science Forum 2005

 

Budapest, November 10-12, 2005

An International Round Table, entitled "Science in a Democratic World: the Role of Parliaments" was organized by UNESCO, ISESCO and other partners, on 11 November 2005 in the context of the World Science Forum, Budapest 10-12 November.

One of the purposes of the Round Table was to examine the role of the Parliaments in the science, technology and innovation process as well as challenges and constraints faced in the context of increasing complexity of the decision making process.
