HUNGARY

The World Science Day for Peace and Development 2004 will be celebrate in Hungary in the context of the Hungarian Science Days and the popularization of S&T and scientific careers among the youth. The Tempus Public Foundation, the Hungarian chapter of the World Academy of Young Scientist (WAYS), and the Hungarian Association for Innovation organizes a whole-day programme entitled "Ways to the world of science" in nine big cities between 26 October and 9 November 2004. The programme includes the Tempus information day on the Marie Curie Actions and the European Researchers' Mobility Portal, as well as open days in major S&T institutions, and science cafés with the active participation of young scientists.
