JOURNEY OF MAN

Who are we? Where did we come from? What if tens of thousands of years ago, a small band of our ancestors managed to populate every inch of the globe – walking on foot across hundreds of miles of ocean, barren deserts and ice-locked tundras? In National Geographic Channel’s 2-hour documentary JOURNEY OF MAN scientist Dr Spencer Wells decodes our genetic history, based on thousands of DNA samples taken from all over the world in the last decade. His astonishing revelations suggest that everyone alive in the world today is descended from one man – as little as 60 000 years ago. This astonishing genetic detective story leads viewers around the globe to unlock clues, hidden in blood, that trace humanity’s path and recreate the family tree of our modern world.
