• Aiming at the recognition and integration of adult learning and non-formal educationinto national and international education strategies and development frameworks, this UIL cluster incorporates the documentation and dissemination of conceptual and strategic approaches and good practice, as well as advocacy and policy dialogues. A particular focus is laid on highlighting the role of adult learning and non-formal education for the EFA agenda and the MDGs, and on fostering the respective linkages. Two years prior to the next International Conference on Adult Education (CONFINTEA VI), UIL's activities in this area will inform the preparation and development of CONFINTEA VI at national, regional and international levels.  More »
