Summary:
The congress ‘As 2006’ serves as a platform for discussion and exchange of scientific knowledge and ideas to identify future research targets to improve the understanding of the occurrence and mobility of arsenic in groundwater, as well as the health impacts and risks when using this water for drinking or irrigation purposes. The congress will also discuss ways to develop, evaluate, select and apply remediation methods. Although the congress will focus on Latin America, researchers from across the globe are strongly encouraged to contribute.
