Global Water Watch is a programme that provides training and technical support for a worldwide network of community-based water monitoring (CBWM) groups.
The two-week workshop is for anyone interested in learning more about CBWM, especially those who provide administrative and organizational support for water resource programs.
Topics and activities for the workshop include:
• administration of water monitoring programmes
• presentations on and discussions about all aspects of CBWM
• certifications in physical, chemical and biological water monitoring
• training in quality assurance and data management
• study tours of lake, stream and coastal CBWM groups in Alabama
