Summary:
Many aspects must be considered in order to guarantee dams’ safety. Throughout their life span, changes in their surroundings and the results of specific safety analysis can influence their use and management. The study sessions will be organized around three themes: climate change, changes in the dams’ immediate surroundings (landslides, infiltrations, etc.) and recent examples of rehabilitation, consolidation or shutting down operations.
