This meeting aims to generate a debate focusing on the water management problems found in Latin America while promoting an approach between social movements and the scientific-academic community, and to stimulate a broader exchange of views between different social actors on these topics. Main themes of this event are:
• social and ecological sustainability
• the conventional strategies of management crisis
• essential public services
• culture, education and social mobilization: towards a new water ethics.
