This symposium will provide a platform for the international exchange of research relating to Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM). The main topics of this conference are as follows:
• from headwaters to the mouth - vulnerable interactions between landscapes, water and societies
• flood risk – flood vulnerability – flood protection (a contribution to the International Flood Initiative)
• water management as a problem
• water management as a solution.
