This conference will examine the following issues:
• the application of remotely sensed image data (terrestrial, airborne, spaceborne) and other collateral data for information extraction in high mountain areas;
• the cartographic representation of this data/information in maps (analogue, digital, line maps, image maps, combined image-line maps, etc.) and GIS-based environments; and
• application-oriented analysis.
