Summary:
The purpose of this workshop is to strengthen the understanding of wetlands and their role in supporting and sustaining the livelihoods of people. By bringing together the conservation and development sectors, the workshop aims to create and reinforce the necessary partnerships among government, non-government, private, academic, environment and development organizations to improve the conservation of wetlands and human well-being.
