This conference will include technical sessions that will explore the following themes:
• dam construction, design of dam structures, and rehabilitation of dams;
• project design and rehabilitation adapted for small dams;
• dam surveillance, maintenance, instrumentation and monitoring;
• dam behaviour in response to certain loading conditions such as ice loading or earthquakes;
• dam safety;
• dam management in the context of hydrological uncertainty;
• water management accounting for multiple use and integrated watershed management;
• environmental issues, such as in-stream flow, fish passage, and habitat compensation.
