Summary:
This workshop falls within the framework of the ‘Promotion of the Capacities for Stage II of the Climate Change Adaptation in Central America, Mexico and Cuba Project’.
The main objective of this workshop is to analyse the boarding strategies for Future Vulnerability studies, as well as to identify, analyse and value the oriented options of adaptation to the hydric sector.
Experts at the Stockholm Environment Institute's Boston Center will train representatives of Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua and Panama, in the use of the Water Evaluation And Planning (WEAP) system, as a tool for impact evaluation. Adaptation strategy structure methodologies will be presented.
