Summary:
The objective of this course is to train professionals who are able to interpret the different knowledge, technologies and instruments required to carry out integrated water resources management.
The following topics will be discussed:
• introduction to integrated water resources management and environmental water resource management
• applied environmental management aspects: environmental management and water resources
• environmental management tools
• environmental assessment and land-use planning
• environmental indicators
• economic, social and environmental valuation of water
• integrated river basins management.
