From 2006-05-30 to 2006-06-01
Venue: Alicante, Spain
Summary:
This seminar will explore technology and water use, which, in light of the knowledge available in the 21st century and with a conception focused on the near future, can go beyond the limits set by nature itself. The history of water reviewed in the context of this seminar will help to understand the importance water has had in every possible context and civilization in the past, an understanding that should undoubtedly lead to the appreciation the true value of this natural resource.
The goal of the seminar is ‘to learn from history’, approaching the problem from a pragmatic point of view, far from the political and social interests usually linked to water.
