One of the main goals of this workshop is to determine the application of groundwater models and new techniques for groundwater investigation, particularly for trainers in arid and semi-arid regions.
The topics of this workshop are as follows:
• a review on the basis for mathematical modelling and a review on the most popular groundwater models
• the role of mathematical modelling in groundwater development projects
• agricultural recharge and mathematical models
• monitoring and modelling groundwater quality
• application of tracers in groundwater research.
