From 2007-03-27 to 2007-03-28
Venue: Lyon, France
Summary:
This congress aims to analyze the relationship between hydrology and the past and present climate change and evolution.
The following topics will be discussed during the congress: alpine glacier hydrology; mass fluctuations of glaciers in relation to the air temperature and precipitations; nivology; extreme hydrological events such as drought/low water and floods/high water. Data presented will be based on measurement networks and historical data (atmospheric pressure, precipitation, air temperature, river flow) of two centuries and on the recent studies of the last thousand years.
