From 2006-10-17 to 2006-10-21
Venue: Yokohama, Japan
Summary:
World population is expected to expand to 9 billion by the middle of this century. At that time, water and energy will be among the most critical global issues for the sustainable development of the future human society. Hydraulic machinery and systems are components of the sustainable development of water resources, for hydropower production and for various transport processes of the water. For more effective and efficient utilization of hydraulic machinery and systems, it is important to exchange up-to-date information on numerical analysis, design, related technologies, and operation and monitoring of hydraulic machinery and systems, which is the main objective of this symposium.
