Summary:
The Subaqua Club is promoting two events of importance to the world of Hydrogeology: the 3rd TIAC and the 2nd SIACODE.
The themes of the international meeting on Technology of Seawater Intrusion into Coastal Aquifers include:
• coastal aquifers recharge
• hydrogeochemical and isotope studies
• methods of exploration and study of coastal aquifers
• marine intrusion throughout the world and its characterization.
The 2nd International Symposium on Coastal Aquifers and Desalination Plants will focus on the difficulties of tapping coastal aquifers, as well as monitoring and control systems and case studies.
